Green Lantern: Overview
The Green Lantern is one of the most popular characters of all time for DC comics. He is also a much loved action figure that can be found in a number of different collections. The Green Lantern appeared in July 1940 in All American Comics #16. As well as the comics and action figures there have also been Green Lantern movies, an animated TV series, and computer games.
The Green Lantern appeared in the Captain Action line of action figures as one of his aliases; this collection was very popular during the 1960s. The Green Lantern is also a member of the Justice League of America and has appeared as a figurine in that series as well.
DC have released many versions of the character; usually as 6 inch figures. The Emerald Green collection provides a translucent Green Lantern. There are also many other action figures related to the series such as; the Guardians, Kilowog, and Parallax – these have all been recreated as part of Green Lantern Wave One selection of action figures.
