Incredible Hulk: Overview
The Incredible Hulk was introduced by Marvel Comics in 1962 and since then he has appeared in movies, in television series, cartoons, and even in computer games. There have been many Incredible Hulk action figures created over the years and these have been quite successful; they remain sought after today and some have even become collectables.
Since its creation of the character the action figures have gone through periods of being very popular; especially with the release of big budget movies or when the TV show was popular during the late seventies and early eighties. There is just something really captivating about the idea of a man that can turn into an unbeatable monster when he gets angry.
Toy Biz released a collection of Incredible Hulk figures back in 2003 called Hulk classics. Series one of this line of toys included Smart Hulk, Super Poseable Savage hulk, Abomination, and Joe Fixit Hulk. The second series of Hulk classics featured; Gamma Punch Hulk, War Hulk, Absorbing Man, and Mecha Hulk.
The toy manufacturer Hasbro has also produced a line of action figures called Hulk; these focus more on the comic book characters. There are about eight characters in the series including; King Hulk, The End, Son of Hulk, Savage Grey Hulk, Wendigo, Savage She-Hulk,Doc Samson, and Absorbing Man.
